Campos has been accusing the Zimmer campaign of voter fraud and he got his wish that the powerful in politics get in this country, a re-try. The claims in my mind are preposterous, but there are some truth to the allegations according to the Hudson Reporter. Several people signed affidavits that they were paid to vote for Ms. Zimmer. However, this is Hoboken. This happens all of the time. What is more the Campos team could have gotten to these people and paid them to sign the affidavits. Who knows? But, this strikes of something rotten in politics in Hoboken. The claims that Zimmer is rich and can buy an election are simply ridiculous. She puts forth allegations that Campos paid over 30,000 to 4th ward residents to work on his campaign and he should stop calling the kettle black.
