Don't get me wrong...I like Kucinich and Gravel for that matter...but they are treated as if they are outcasts, treated as if they do not exist (just as Paul is treated by the Repubs.) and he is laughed at a lot.
We will be voting for a centrist it seems in '08 and I do not know if I can stomach it...though look what Chris Dodd said of the new Iraq war measures:
"Rather than picking up votes, by removing the deadline to get our troops out of Iraq you have lost this Democrat's vote.
"Despite the fact that this has been the bloodiest summer of the war and report after report says that there has been little to no political progress, the White House continues to argue that their strategy is working.
"It is clear that half measures are not going to stop this President or end this war.
"I cannot and will not support any measure that does not have a firm and enforceable deadline to complete the redeployment of combat troops from Iraq. Only then will Congress be able to send a clear message to the President that we are changing course in Iraq, and a message to the Iraqis that they need to get their political house in order.
"I urge my colleagues to join me and declare their opposition to this measure."
I think he has about as much of a chance as Kucinich and Gravel. Alli told me the other day to get over it - I will be voting for Clinton in November and there's nothing I can do about it. She may be right, but I don't like it. I think I just may vote for Kucinich in the primary.
Isn't that what a primary is about, anyway? Voting for who you truly think would be the best leader for the country?

I think I actually think Hillary's ad is better. Dammit! Though, after Barack's comments about Iran, I am soured on him too.
Where o where have you gone, the progressive wing of the democratic party?

Oh and unfortunately if it's Mitt v. Hillary, I'm gonna vote Clinton in November. But you are right, I'll have to hold my nose while I do it.
