JERSEY CITY THEATER CENTER and CANCO LOFTS present three short films by director Miroslaw Dembinski on the fight for democracy and freedom in Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus. Schedule for September 7th:
4pm - American Premiere of "Dwarfs Go to Ukraine" (2005/55min) introduced by short film "Orange Alternative" (2005/20min).
7pm - "A Lesson of Belarusian" (2006/51min), recently part of the 2007 Human Rights Watch International Film Festival.
Talk back sessions follow. Ukrainian and Belorussian hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
