Obama Wins Iowa

The SG readers were correct! We predicted the race correctly. Obama - Edwards - Clinton. Though, Edwards and Clinton could switch by nights end.

So interesting. I can't tell you how scared I am about this Huckabee thing though. I think he may take it all and it'll be another terrible four years.

I shouldn't get ahead of myself. Tonight I'll cheer for my candidate! Yay Barack Obama!!

Great news. So much for inevitability.

Magda - i wouldn't worry about Huckleberry running the table. The more serious concern is that it helps McCain, the one Rethuglican who could possibly win.

Still, the word from the deeply flawed process in Iowa is clear.

OBAMA + HUCKABEE = CHANGE

Point taken, PN point taken. That is scary. I would also agree Magda, that Huckleberry ain't goin' anywhere. If McCain wins NH we could be in trouble.

As for Obama - amazing. His speech (as well as Edwards) was remarkable. On to NH. I am going to see if I can find both speeches - they are what the democratic party should be about.

I hope you are all right about Ole Huck. Growing up in the crazy south, I never underestimate the appeal of a likeable right wing nut job. It is nice to see that both party's couldn't get their choices past the people. It does give you hope.

I'm sorry I should have said "misunderestimate." Silly me.
