What the hell is that?

Good question. What the picture shows is the Image Project Room. It is a converted silo. That is correct, a silo. Now it is a testament to subversiveness on the Gowanus Canal in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. The New York Times just ran a great piece about off-the-beaten-track art and music spaces, and this one takes the cake. To get to the top floor, you have to climb up an external ladder. Crazy, independent and independent, I look forward to checking it out.
