having just returned from paris and a trip to the louvre museum, this clip of 500 years of women in art is a must see!
i saw it on the nyt blog on books this weekend: "I am not the first to be taken with this (I first saw it a few weeks ago, on a blog called Mind the Miscellany), but if you haven’t seen it, it’s worth 2 minutes and 52 seconds of your life. The music is Bach’s Sarabande from Suite No. 1 in G major for solo cello (BWV 1007), performed by Yo-Yo Ma."
