Check out this clip where Lieberman discusses supporting a 2008 "democratic" Presidential candidate. What the hell happened to this guy? Talk about a fall from grace. He said "well, ya know no democratic nominee sought my support. John McCain is a friend and he sought my support." Like that is the test. Only if someone seeks your support. This guy should be stripped of all of his committee assignments and disgraced.From betraying the Katrina victims by shutting the investigation down, though he promised to push forward to the Lieberman "let us bomb Iran amendment" to supporting every Iraq war resolution and distorting every vote and crisis in Iraq, to now supporting John McCain for President, this guy is the truest assclown. Though, George Bush and Karl Rove are the standard, Lieberman is not far behind. Let's hope Connecticut voters smarten up in four years.

Well, yes, of course he should lose his committee assignments. Trouble is, without him we don't have a majority, so let's hold off for a year.
Anyway, i hope McCain wasn't counting on "Joementum" to carry him too far.
ditto to Paul's comment. We are screwed without him. Although come his re-election, I say we do like the Repubs would do and target him for being a DINO. (Although I suppose we did try that...)
That is actually not true anymore. We needed him at the beginning to dole out the committee assignments, but now that the assignments are made you cannot change mid election. The Dems would have the majority through to 2008 where they will most certainly pick up anywhere from 3-8 seats. I say dump him now.
Of course the Dems really are a bunch of wimps. After all though we had a marvelous candidate in Lamont even Barack supported Lieberman, someone who was clearly not a democrat anymore.
He has been bad for a while, but it just keeps getting worse. Of course there are others too...such as the Nelson boys, but Joementum needs to go.
