Clemens to Be Named in the Mitchell Steroids Report

Roger Clemens will be among many named in the Mitchell Report on performance enhancing drugs. The report also specifies many "prominent" yankees. This should not surprise anyone about Clemens, he changed dramatically after leaving the Red Sox, not to mention being named in the affidavits released last year. Though, I hope this report focuses on Major League Baseball as much as the players. They let it happened and even encouraged it in my opinion.

Brian McNamee, who worked for the Yankees and as a personal trainer for Clemens and Yankee teammates Andy Pettitte, also told investigators that on at least one occasion, Clemens was in possession of steroids from another supplier, the source said.

Also, The Bergen (N.J.) Record, citing a baseball industry official, says "several" prominent Yankees will be named in the Mitchell report. The paper said the source spoke to a third party who had seen the final report. "It's going to be a rough day in the Bronx," the paper quoted the source as saying.

No Pujols either. I heard Pujols and Bagwell. But, they were not there.

Of course that is the inherent problem with the report, the speculation that occurred...but I am glad something is being done.
