Who Needs Speed Racer?

My brother, John Fogarty, has been putting out local New Jersey art for years, and doing it for much less than the wacked-out Wachowski Brothers, creators of the middling, Speed Racer. I have to admit, I have not seen the popcorn light show that is their attempt at a film version of the classic pre-cursor to Anime, but I don't really plan to spend $10 to see great colors when I can just look at the bouncing balls of color in this recent piece by Mr. Fogarty.

The Wachowski bros certainly put a lot of effort into making Speed Racer... the movie overall looked and felt like a cross between anime, a kaleidoscope, that Flintstones movie, a video game and the Dukes of Hazard

i agree with dan, i read a couple reviews and speed racer looks like a popcorn movie lathered in high fructose computer syrup, flatline cgi cinema. if your going to support someone, i'd say commision a local artist like this John Fogarty to do some raw off the dome wackadoodleness.
