Suddenly, a new Assclown emergesFor the second time Bush vetoed legislation to expand federal funding for stem cell research. This is a popular idea (if it can pass this Congress it has to be). Think Progress says: to win some political cover Bush will issue an executive order to increase research in "regenerative medicine." But, it appears to be largely symbolic. The NY times reports: there is no money attached and scientists were instantly skeptical.
The picture to the right is just a dream, a dream of a better day.
