Pendulum to Swing

I am perversely depressed this morning regarding the events of our world. I thought I would try and cheer myself up. I am waiting for the pendulum to swing...

to restore the rule of law;
tolerance and togetherness;
progressive values in our elected leaders;
not in party politics in what will get us elected;
but in what is right for our world and our people;
hoping for democracy to be restored...if not now, then when?
