the other george michael

as we watch arrested development reruns, i can't help but re-obsess over michael cera.

with his new movie nick and nora's infinite playlist, cera aka george michael bluth ("i can see marinating a chicken in that ...") can do no wrong in my book. the new york times profiled him last weekend.

see him here in a clip of a fictional firing from knocked up.

freaks and geeks

cancelled during its first season, this tv show (directed by judd apatow, "knocked up" and "the 40-year-old virgin") brilliantly captures the angst of high school in the 80s.

in this clip, watch the geeks try to decode a dirty joke while the freaks help daniel pass a math test.
