It was a great read. I mean I spent the last week or so blowing through 40 pages a day. I never read that fast, but I was so caught up in the story I wanted to know what would happen next. I wished he had not used the N word so much and had translated the sprinkling of spanish words but the story really gets. An the footnotes are one of the book's best features. Its not just about Jersey but its gives you such much instight into DR history and culture. Many Dominicans want discuss the some of the senstitive issues he hit upon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
